Turtle Bay
is located near the town of Kahuka along Highway 83 on the northern coast of Oahu. This scenic area is just 45 minutes from the Honolulu Airport, and is near some of the most famous surfing spots on the islands. Turtle Bay also offers two championship golf courses, five miles of white sand beach and swimming, diving and snorkeling, horseback riding, mountain biking and access to world class shopping and dining. Helicopter rides area available at Turtle Bay that takes you over some of Oahu’s most beautiful waterfalls and jungle areas. Turtle Bay also offers sunset dinner cruises, charter boats for sport fishing and whale watching, and Eco tours. Turtle Bay is just a short drive to the Polynesian Cultural Center where you can watch demonstrations in dance, cooking, storytelling and crafts, and come nightfall, enjoy a genuine luau dinner! Other nearby attractions includes the Kahuka Mill Shopping Center and the historic towns of Haleiwa and Laie, and most of the other island attractions are less than an hour away.

Northeastern Oahu is part of the wet windward coast and has a subtropical climate. The prevailing northeasterly trade winds are a dominate factor in the climate of Oahu, and even the warmest months of the year are comfortable due to the blowing trade winds. The average air temperature ranges from 74 to 88 degrees with moderate humidity of around 53 percent during the day. The island has two mountain ranges that serve to separate the moist windward (east) side from the drier leeward (west) side. Showers occur almost daily on the windward side, most frequently during the evening hours. There are no distinguishable season changes on the island of Oahu, although it is usually a few degrees warmer in the summer months.
