Sunset-Beach

The historic town of Haleiwa is approximately an 8 minute drive away, and you are also just minutes from Turtle Bay with it's exclusive golf, tennis and restaurants. Northeastern Oahu is part of the wet windward coast and has a subtropical climate. The prevailing northeasterly trade winds are a dominate factor in the climate of Oahu, and even the warmest months of the year are comfortable due to the blowing trade winds. The average air temperature ranges from 74 to 88 degrees with moderate humidity of around 53 percent during the day. The island has two mountain ranges that serve to separate the moist windward (east) side from the drier leeward (west) side. Showers occur almost daily on the windward side, most frequently during the evening hours. There are no distinguishable season changes on the island of Oahu, although it is usually a few degrees warmer in the summer months.
